Processing layer

The colour layer

The layer that quietly makes mixed fleets match.

Many small and mirrorless cameras expose only basic control: exposure, white balance, REC. Add a colour device on the same RCP channel and you get real shading on top: black, multi-matrix and detail. Touch exposure and Cyanview drives the camera; touch black or matrix and it drives the colour device.

VP4 and what comes next

The flagship is Cyanview’s own VP4: CCU-grade secondary correction across four links, driven from the RCP. The current VP4 is out of stock and no longer produced; a next-generation VP4 is in development and arriving soon.

Third-party correctors, same panel

The RCP also drives correctors you may already own: Blackmagic Teranex, AJA ColorBox and FS-HDR, Flanders BoxIO, EVS Neuron, Lawo and FOR-A, as a standalone colour channel or combined with the camera on one channel.

The LUT round-trip

Grade in Resolve and export the LUT to the RCP. Shade live with camera and LUT on one channel. After the show, export the tweaked LUT back to post. The look stays consistent from suite to set and back.
