Control surface

RCP & RCP-J

One panel. Many brands. Every camera a numbered channel.

The RCP is where a human turns iris, black, gain and colour: real knobs, a touchscreen, and on the RCP-J a joystick for continuous riding. It speaks dozens of camera protocols, so the brands on your floor stop mattering at the desk.

Why it exists

Traditional CCUs control only their own brand of camera, which taxes every mixed fleet with extra panels and split attention. The RCP decouples the control surface from the camera: a Sony system camera, an FX3 on a gimbal, a PTZ, a RED and a Marshall POV sit side by side on the same panel, painted by one operator.

RCP or RCP-J?

Both share the same brain and protocols. The RCP-J adds a joystick column built for shows where iris is ridden continuously: sports, concerts, anything where the light is part of the action. If shading is set-and-forget, the standard RCP is enough.

The Multi-Cam Dashboard

Every panel carries a browser companion at port 4000: a grid of every camera with the parameters that matter, full configuration, scenes and groups, and a live mirror of the RCP. Today it is for setup and monitoring; operating cameras from the browser is planned for a later firmware, so live shading stays on the panel.
